Ab HELIOS 2023 SP 2 bietet der HELiOS Spooler die Möglichkeit, zur Druckausgabe in eine PDF-Datei die Windows-Funktion Microsoft Print to PDF zu verwenden.

Diese Ausgabe ist u. U. schneller und eine Installation und Einrichtung des ISD FilePrinter PS kann ggf. entfallen.

Nach einer Installation von HELiOS wurde bisher das Windows-Kontextmemü defaultmäßig um den Menüpunkt In HELiOS speichern erweitert.

Dieser ermöglicht das einfache Speichern von Dokumenten in die HELiOS-Datenbank im Zusammenhang mit HELiOSScan, falls die automatisierte Übernahme nicht erfolgt ist (etwa durch Abbrechen des Dokumentendialoges oder aufgrund eines Fehlers).

Ab HELiOS 2023 SP1 (V. 2801) wird dieser Eintrag bei einer Neuinstallation nicht mehr automatisch eingerichtet.

Soll der Kontextmenü-Eintrag angelegt werden, müssen Sie im Installations-Dialog unter Erweiterte Einstellungen  auf der Registerkarte Allgemein die Checkbox Kontextmenüeintrag im Windows Explorer für das Speichern von Dateien in HELiOS anlegen aktivieren.

Bei Update-Installationen älterer Versionen ist die Option aktiv und kann, falls gewünscht, deaktiviert werden.

In Ergebnislisten zeigt Ihnen die Spalte Indexaktualität über ein Symbol an, ob es sich um den aktuellsten Versionsindex eines HELiOS-Objekts handelt. Wenn ja, dann wird dies durch ein grünes Kreissymbol markiert, anderenfalls durch ein orangefarbenes.

Wird Ihnen die Spalte aktuell nicht angezeigt, müssen Sie lediglich über die Ergebnislistenkonfiguration das Attribut Indexaktualität  (Attributname: "UI_DocumentNewerIndex" ) hinzufügen.

Beachten Sie beim Import der HELiOS-Standarddatenbank mit dem HELiOS Database Creator, dass sich dessen Pfad auf der Installations-DVD geändert hat.

Ab HELiOS 2023 Service Pack 1 finden Sie Datenbank dort unter \Databases\de\ (bzw. \Databases\en\ für die englische Version).

Wenn Sie mit einer MS-Office- bzw. Outlook-HELiOS-Kopplung arbeiten, können Sie beim Erstellen einer E-Mail über den HELiOS-Menüpunkt Dokument anhängen Dateianhänge über die HELiOS-Dokumentsuche hinzufügen.
Es gibt es weiteren, einfachen Weg, einer E-Mail ein HELiOS-Dokument als Anhang hinzuzufügen, etwa wenn Sie es an anderer Stelle, z. B. in einer Ergebnisliste des HELiOS Desktop bereits aufgelistet sehen:
Markieren Sie das gewünschte Dokument mit der rechten Maustaste und wählen Sie im sich daraufhin öffnenden Kontextmenü Dokument vormerken aus.

Im HELiOS-Menü einer E-Mail im Editierungsmodus finden Sie unterhalb von  Dokument anhängen den weiterten Menüpunkt  Vorgemerktes Dokument anhängen.

Klicken Sie auf diesen und das an anderer Stelle vorgemerkte Dokument wird der E-Mail direkt angehangen.

Dabei wird die Datei mit dem internen HELIOS-Dateinamen benannt (hinterlegt im Datenbankattribut "HEL_Dateiname").

Ähnlich zum Dateiexport lässt sich ab HiCAD 2023 (V. 2800) auch innerhalb des Druckdialoges einstellen, wie sich der Dateiname für die Ausgabedatei (z. B. PDF) zusammensetzen soll. Es können Dokument-, Artikel-, Projekt- und Mappenattribute verwendet werden.

Außerdem werden jetzt im Druckdialog eindeutige Artikel-, Projekt- oder Mappenkontexte automatisch ermittelt und im Dialog direkt dargestellt.

Das Attributmapping für den Dateinamen greift auch bei den Konvertierungsfunktionen im HELiOS Desktop. Artikelkontexte werden dort - sofern eindeutig - automatisch ermittelt.

Beim Speichern von SZA-Dateien nach HELiOS wird jetzt auch die HiCAD-Blattstruktur nach HELiOS übertragen. Diese beinhaltet die Anzahl der Blätter und pro Blatt jeweils den Blatttyp, die Blattnummer und den Blattnamen. Die Blattstruktur von SZA-Dokumenten wird in der Modellstruktur des Dokumentstamms und im überarbeiteten Druckdialog dargestellt.

Beachten Sie, dass beim Starten von HiCAD mit einer Meldung darauf hingewiesen wird, dass für Bestandsdaten die Blattstrukturen nachgetragen werden müssen. Durchgeführt werden kann dies nur mit Administrationsberechtigung. Das Nachtragen kann länger dauern, kann aber jederzeit unterbrochen und später fortgesetzt werden. Dies gilt für folgende HiCAD-Versionen:

• HiCAD 2021: Ab Version 2601.6
• HiCAD 2022: Ab Version 2702.3
• HiCAD 2023: Ab Version 2800.0

Ab HELiOS 2023 (V. 2800) existiert mit dem neuen HELiOS Server Monitor nun ein Werkzeug mit dem Anwender kontinuierlich die Serverapplikationen überwachen können und informiert werden wenn Fehler auftreten:

• Kleine separate Installation zur gezielten Verteilung.
• Tray-Symbol mit Statusanzeige und separater Meldung bei Fehlern.
• Zunächst Überwachung des Vault-Servers und Spoolers.
• Neben grundsätzlicher Erreichbarkeit der Serverapplikation werden auch Fehler zur Laufzeit angezeigt. Beim Spooler sind dies z. B. fehlgeschlagene Aufträge in der Warteschlange.

Seit der Version 2022 SP1  unterstützt der HELiOS Spooler auch die Dateiformate

• ToPs GEO (*.geo) und
• Navisworks (*.nwc und *.nwd).

Der Export als nwd-Datei ist aber nur dann möglich, wenn auf dem Spooler-Server eine lizenzierte Version von Navisworks vorhanden ist.

Beim Navisworks-Export über den Spooler wird - wie bei anderen Formaten auch - die gesamte Konstruktion exportiert. Der ToPs GEO-Export exportiert nur Blechabwicklungen bzw. Abwicklungen von Blechen, die in der Konstruktion vorhanden sind.

Seit HELiOS 2021 SP1 steht in den HELiOS-Optionen unter Datenbank die Einstellung Zuordnungen von Objekten zu den schreibgeschützten Projekten erlauben zur Verfügung.

Steht diese Einstellung auf Ja, dann können Sie auch schreibgeschützten Projekten weitere Objekte (z. B. per Drag&Drop) hinzufügen. Dies ist die ISD-seitige Defaulteinstellung.

Wollen Sie dies unterbinden, dann setzen Sie die Einstellung auf Nein. Beachten Sie dabei, dass dadurch auch das Anlegen oder Zuordnen von Unterprojekten unterbunden wird. Bearbeitungen oder Objektzuordnungen unterhalb von Unterprojekten eines schreibgeschützten Projekts, die selbst nicht schreibgeschützt sind, sind allerdings nach wie vor möglich.

Um internationales Arbeiten mit HELiOS zu vereinfachen, bietet der HELiOS Maskeneditor (ab HELiOS 2021) die Möglichkeit, Textobjekte direkt mehrsprachig anzulegen und Übersetzungstexte zu verwalten.

Dazu steht links im Maskeneditor die Registerkarte Übersetzungstexte zur Verfügung.

Hier werden alle Textschlüssel der aktiven Maske angezeigt. Mit einem Klick auf einen Textschlüssel lassen sich alle zu diesem Schlüssel vorhandenen Übersetzungstexte anzeigen. Um einen Text zu bearbeiten, klicken Sie einfach auf die entsprechenden Zeile und geben den neuen Text ein. Die Default-Texte von HELiOS werden dann durch Ihre individuellen Anpassungen ersetzt.

Beim Bearbeiten vorhandener oder beim Erstellen neuer Textobjekte in Masken können Sie grundsätzlich mehrsprachig arbeiten. Dazu aktivieren Sie für das entsprechende Textobjekt im Eigenschaften-Fenster unter Beschriftung die Schaltfläche Mehrsprachig verwenden.

Beim Kopieren und Einfügen von Attributwerten über die Zwischenablage - auch zwischen unterschiedlichen Applikationen,  z. B. von HELiOS und einem ERP-System oder Microsoft Word - werden Einheitenkategorien von (FLOAT-)Attributen ab HiCAD 2022 SP2 wie folgt berücksichtigt:

• Die Kontextmenü-Funktion Attributwert kopieren kopiert einen Wert so ins Clipboard, wie er in der Ergebnisliste dargestellt wird. Enthält die entsprechende Ergebnislistenspalte auch die Einheit (etwa cm oder Zoll), dann wird diese auch mit kopiert.
• Beim Einfügen über RMT > Attributwert einfügen in ein Ziel-Attribut mit anderer Basiseinheit wird der Wert dann entsprechend umgerechnet.

Das Kopieren und Einfügen funktioniert dabei nach dem "WYSIWYG"-Prinzip. Dabei wird der Wert u. U. nicht in der höchsten Genauigkeit kopiert. Das heißt: Existiert auf Seiten des Quellattributwerts eine höhere Zahl an Nachkommastellen als in einem Attributfeld (ohne Einheitenkategorie) der Ergebnisliste angezeigt werden, dann wird der Wert entsprechend angezeigt, ggf. hinter dem Komma aufgerundet.

Beispiel:

Das Einfügen eines HELiOS-Quellattributwerts von 123,456 Gramm (FLOAT-Attribut der Kategorie Masse, Anzeigeeinheit: g), das im entsprechenden Ergebnislistenfeld mit 2 Nachkommastellen "123,46 g" angezeigt wird, in ein Feld der Kategorie Masse mit der Anzeigeeinheit kg in 3 Nachkommastellen, wird als Zielattributwert in der entsprechenden Anzeigeeinheit übernommen (0,123456 Kilogramm) und in der Ergebnisliste als "0,123 kg" angezeigt.

Mit Hilfe der Ableitungs-Funktionen von HELiOS lassen sich existierende Objekte als Basis für neue Objekte verwenden. Das heißt, Sie kopieren alle Stammdaten und ggf. auch Verknüpfungen eines HELiOS-Objektes mit in ein neues Objekt gleichen Typs - mit anderer Benennung.

Ab HELiOS 2022 SP2 gilt dies auch für Projekt- und Mappenstrukturen. Die Funktionen Projekt ohne Inhalt ableiten... bzw. Mappen ohne Inhalt ableiten... erstellen eine exakte Kopie des entsprechenden Projektes bzw. der Mappe unter einer neuen Bezeichnung. Sämtliche Inhalte des Objektes wie Unterstrukturen, verknüpfte Dokumente etc. werden bei Bedarf übernommen.

_{Dialog Projektstruktur ableiten}

Darüber hinaus haben Sie die Möglichkeit, einzelne Inhalte bzw. Unterstrukturen einer Projekt- bzw. Mappenstruktur gezielt mit in die Ableitung zu  übernehmen oder auszunehmen.

_{Auswahl und Auto-Selektion untergeordneter Mappen (Ausschnitt)}

Die Auswahllogik berücksichtigt dabei automatisch Hierarchien und Abhängigkeiten.  Wird beispielsweise bei der Ableitung eines Projektes eine darin enthaltene Mappe mit ausgewählt, die verschiedenen Stellen des Projektbaums zugeordnet ist, dann wird die Mappe automatisch an allen entsprechenden Stellen selektiert. Projekt- und Mappenattribute lassen sich vor der Ableitung verändern und der Workflow kann automatisch oder auch individuell für die Projekte/Mappen ausgewählt werden.

_{Workflow-Auswahl (Ausschnitt)}

Seit HELiOS 2022 Service Pack 1 lässt sich das Druck- bzw. Konvertierungsverhalten des HELiOS Spoolers steuern, z. B. für SZA-Dateien aus HiCAD.

Da es bei der Verarbeitung von sehr großen Datenmengen über den Spooler ggf. zu Rechenzeiten > 30 Minuten kommen kann, lässt sich jetzt die Dauer für den Timeout, ab dem ein evtl. „hängender“ Vorgang abgebrochen wird, einstellen.

Dazu dient in der Systemdatei AddIn.Hicad.Config.xml der Schalter <timeout_minutes>30</timeout_minutes>. Den dort gesetzten Default-Wert von 30 Minuten können Sie bei Bedarf manuell ändern.

Falls Sie den HELiOS Spooler  mit einer Inventor-Kopplung verwenden, stehen Ihnen auch dort erweiterte Einstellungsmöglichkeiten zur Verfügung. Da Autodesk Inventor nach dem Öffnen einer Zeichnung zunächst die Zeichnungsansichten aktualisiert, kann dies dazu führen, dass bei PDF-Exporten manche Ansichten als Rastergrafik in den Export übernommen werden, wenn die PDF-Ausgabe schon vor Abschluss der Aktualisierung in Inventor startete.
Um das zu vermeiden, können Sie eine konfigurierbare Zeitspanne einstellen, in der HELiOS die etwaige Aktualisierung von Ansichten abwarten soll. Dies erfolgt in der Konfigurationsdatei AddIn.Inventor.Config.xml über die Schalter

• <update_drawing_views_after_load> und
• <drawing_view_update_timeout_minutes>.

Auch hier kann ein Minutenwert gesetzt werden, den der Spooler abwartet, bis die Aktualisierung von Zeichnungsansichten ggf. abgebrochen wird. Die Defaulteinstellung ist 5 Minuten.
Wenn HELiOS vor Ablauf der eingestellten Zeitspanne feststellt, dass alle enthaltenen Ansichten aktuell sind, erfolgt der Druck bzw. die PDF-Ausgabe entsprechend früher.

Im HELiOS Desktop und den Multi-CAD-Kopplungen lassen sich Dokumente auch mit der Funktion Öffnen mit Optionen laden, die spezifische Optionen für verschiedene Dateitypen anbietet.

Beispielsweise lassen sich Dokumente mit Schreibschutz öffnen (falls sie nur zur Ansicht und nicht zur Bearbeitung geladen werden sollen), zusätzliche Optionen für das reduzierte Laden von HiCAD-Konstruktionen festlegen oder direkt beim Laden von Baugruppen aus Inventor oder SOLIDWORKS Attributaktualisierungen vornehmen.

Mit HELiOS 2022 ist die Funktion nochmals deutlich erweitert worden:

• Aufruf per Button direkt aus Ergebnislisten

• Steuerung der Attribut- und Indexaktualisierung (ggf. abweichend von den Voreinstellungen in der jeweiligen Kopplung). Insbesondere in Situationen in denen Dokumente nur zur Ansicht geöffnet werden sollen, lässt sich so die Performance verbessern.
• In Autodesk Inventor Unterstützung des Expressmodus für Baugruppen und des Aufschiebens der Aktualisierung von Zeichnungen (Performanceoptionen).

Beachten Sie, dass die PDF-Vorschau im HELiOS Desktop mit dem Acrobat Reader DC ab der Version 2021.011.20039 nicht mehr funktioniert.

Als Alternative empfehlen wir den Foxit Reader. Bevor Sie diesen installieren, müssen Sie den Acrobat Reader DC deinstallieren.

Ist der Acrobat Reader DC in der Konfigurationsdatei hel_preview.ini explizit für die PDF-Vorschau definiert, dann müssen Sie diese Datei ebenfalls anpassen.

Mit der neuen Funktion Modellstruktur indizieren (ab HELiOS 2022) wird eine Versionierung von HELiOS-Dokumenten bzw. von Bauteilen und Baugruppen auf Basis der CAD-Modellstruktur vorgenommen - analog zur Funktionalität des Eingabedialoges Neu in HELiOS oder der Ableitungskonstruktion.

Dabei können Sie für jedes Dokument auswählen, ob Sie ausschließlich dieses indizieren wollen oder ob die Verknüpfung zu einem Artikel übernommen oder aufgelöst werden soll.

In den HELiOS Optionen haben Sie ab HELiOS 2022 unter Allgemein > Suche die Möglichkeit einzustellen, ob der Klassifizierungsreiter im jeweiligen Suchfenster für Dokumente oder Artikel (bzw. im Rahmen der Kombi-Suche) angezeigt werden soll oder nicht.

Defaultmäßig ist die Option deaktiviert.

Beim Öffnen lokal geänderter Dateien aus dem HELiOS-Arbeitsbereich, für die auf dem Server eine neuere Version vorliegt, erscheint eine entsprechende Warnmeldung. Sie können dann per Klick entscheiden, ob die lokale Änderung verworfen, der Serverstand der Datei neu geladen oder der lokale Stand aus dem Arbeitsbereich geöffnet werden soll.
Wenn zu nicht lokal geänderten Dateien, die aus dem Arbeitsbereich geöffnet werden, ein neuer Serverstand vorliegt, dann wird automatisch der neuere Serverstand geladen.

Dies gilt nicht nur im Rahmen von Multi-CAD-Kopplungen. sondern auch für andere mit HELiOS gekoppelte Applikationen wie Microsoft Office.

Abkündigung der ISD.PDM.API

Bevor Sie ein HELiOS-Update für eine ältere HiCAD-Version durchführen beachten Sie bitte, dass ab HELiOS 2022 die bisherige ISD.PDM.API entfällt und durch die neue API aus Helios.Interface ersetzt wird. Falls Sie Anpassungen einsetzen, die Funktionalitäten aus der bisherigen ISD.PDM.API verwenden, müssen Sie die Anpassungen zwingend vor der Durchführung des HELiOS-Updates auf die neue API aktualisieren. Falls Sie Anpassungen einsetzen, die Funktionalitäten aus der HiCAD-API verwenden, sollten Sie sicherstellen, dass die eingesetzte HiCAD-Version mindestens die Version 2502.5 bzw. 2601.1 oder aktueller ist. Falls Sie unsicher sind, ob Sie entsprechende Anpassungen einsetzen, sprechen Sie bitte mit Ihrem Administrator oder melden Sie sich im Zweifelsfall bei der ISD.

HELiOS.Interface-API

Die HELiOS.Interface-API ist eine von HiCAD unabhängige API, mit der Sie komfortabel Objekte wie z. B. Projekte, Dokumente und Artikel anlegen, suchen oder ändern können. Auch die Bearbeitung des Workflows kann mit der API erleichtert werden.

Die Arbeit mit der neuen API erfordert kein zusätzliches Modul, setzt jedoch die Teilnahme an einer Schulung und Programmierkenntnisse voraus.

Wenn Sie im Rahmen des ISD Supports zum Datenaustausch das ISD Filecenter nutzen, dann haben Sie ab HELiOS 2022 die Möglichkeit, Dateien direkt aus HiCAD heraus hochzuladen. Dazu steht im Menü Hilfe die neue Funktion Datei in das ISD Filecenter hochladen zur Verfügung.

Über eine neue Datenbankoption lässt sich ab HELiOS 2021 SP1 die Formatierung für System-Datumsattribute steuern. Bei benutzerdefinierten Datumsattributen steuert die Einstellung die Default-Darstellung.

Bauteile aus der Zwischenablage (z. B. mit Strg+C) lassen sich ab HELiOS 2021 durch eine neue Funktion sehr effizient in einer Baugruppe platzieren. Der Performancevorteil gegenüber der normalen Einfügefunktion (Strg+V) ergibt sich besonders bei sehr vielen simultan eingefügten Bauteilen.

Beim HELiOS Maskeneditor muss unterschieden werden zwischen Gruppenrahmen und (ab HELiOS 2021 SP1) Gruppenfeldern.

Gruppenrahmen sind lediglich ein visuelles Element, um Maskenelemente grafisch zu umrahmen.

Dagegen verhalten sich Elemente innerhalb von Gruppenfeldern tatsächlich „gruppiert“. Dies ermöglicht beispielsweise, dass sich das Verschieben und Positionieren von Gruppenfeldern auf alle zur Gruppe gehörenden Elemente auswirkt. Elemente in einem Gruppenrahmen müssten dagegen jeweils mit markiert worden sein.

In die Überschrift von Gruppen kann ein Icon integriert werden.

Wird eine SZA-Datei über den Vault-Server geöffnet, die dort zum Schreiben gesperrt ist, dann kann diese auch später nicht gespeichert werden.

Beim Öffnen einer solchen Datei zeigt HiCAD eine entsprechende Warnmeldung an:

Bei Wahl von Ja wird die Datei im Lesemodus geöffnet. Mit Nein wird das Öffnen der Datei abgebrochen.

Wird versucht eine im Lesemodus geöffnete Datei zu speichern, dann erscheint die folgende Meldung:

Beim Löschen von Artikeln wird deren Verwendung in HELiOS-Produktstrukturen geprüft. Liegen dabei Artikel in Produktstrukturen vor, deren Kopfteil nicht gelöscht werden soll, wird für diese eine Prüfung der CAD-Relevanz durchgeführt.

Wurden Artikel dabei ausschließlich nicht-CAD-relevant in Produktstrukturen eingetragen (wodurch sie gelöscht und gleichzeitig aus allen Verbauungen entfernt werden können), erhalten Sie eine entsprechende Warnmeldung. Sie müssen dann die Löschung der entsprechenden Artikel und damit auch die Löschung aller vorliegenden Verbauungen in Produktstrukturen explizit bestätigen.

Voraussetzung ist, dass Sie die entsprechenden Berechtigungen für den Vorgang besitzen.

Ab HELiOS 2021 (Version 2600.0) werden die folgenden Versionen der Multi-CAD-Kopplungen nicht mehr unterstützt:

• AutoCAD (Mechanical) 2016 und 2017

• Inventor 2016 und 2017

• Navisworks 2016 und 2017

• SOLIDWORKS 2016 und 2017

Wenn Sie HELiOS mit HiCAD einsetzen, wurden bisher beim Austausch referenzierter Teile die Einstellungen für den Teileaustausch aus den HELiOS Datenbank-Optionen auf der Registerkarte HiCAD berücksichtigt. Diese Einstellungen finden Sie ab ab HiCAD 2021 im Konfigurationsmanagement unter Systemeinstellungen > Referenzierung im Abschnitt HELiOS.

Enthält eine HiCAD-Konstruktion Teile mit Artikelstammdaten, von denen einige stücklistenrelevant sind und andere nicht, dann konnte es in der Vergangenheit Probleme bei der Übertragung der Produktstruktur nach HELiOS geben. Seit HiCAD 2021 steht im HiCAD Design Checker der neue Test Nicht-stücklistenrelevante Teile mit HELiOS-Artikelstamm zur Verfügung.

Mit diesem Test lassen sich alle Teile finden, die einen Artikelstamm haben, jedoch nicht stücklistenrelevant sind.

Bei der Übernahme von Konstruktionen mit der Funktion Neu in HELiOS werden auch in SOLIDWORKS unterdrückte Bauteile berücksichtigt.

Unterdrückte Teile werden dabei entsprechend gekennzeichnet und regulär zur Übernahme nach HELiOS angeboten.

Bauteile, die aufgrund von fehlenden Referenzen von SOLIDWORKS unterdrückt werden, erhalten im Dialog ebenfalls ein entsprechende Kennzeichnung.

Beachten Sie, dass sich bei der Übernahme von Bauteilen nach HELiOS ihr Dateipfad ändert, da übernommene Teile im HELiOS-Arbeitsbereichsverzeichnis liegen. Dadurch kann es dazu kommen, dass beim späteren Aufheben von Unterdrückungen die früheren Dateipfade nicht mehr wiederhergestellt werden können. In diesem Fallmüssen Sie die entsprechenden Referenzen manuell auflösen.

Mit HELiOS 2021 wurden die Optionen-Dialoge der unterschiedlichen HELiOS-Integrationen in einer Applikation zusammengefasst. Hierzu wurde der bisherige Optionen-Dialog aus dem HELiOS Desktop erweitert. Außerdem wurde in diesem Zuge auch der Import und Export von Optionen erweitert, damit sich die (neuen) Optionen aus den HELiOS-Integrationen ebenfalls zwischen unterschiedlichen Arbeitsplätzen austauschen oder im Rahmen der Installation verteilen lassen.

Seit HiCAD 2017 unterstützen wir FGA als Figurenformat (davor FIG). Ab HiCAD/HELiOS 2021 bzw. HELiOS 2021 als Update für HiCAD 2019/2020 setzen wir voraus, dass alle mittels HELiOS gespeicherten Figuren zuvor auf das neue FGA-Format konvertiert wurden. Zur Konvertierung vorhandener 2D FIG-Dateien steht im exe-Verzeichnis der HiCAD Installation das Tool Converter_FIG_To_FGA.exe zur Verfügung.

Sollten im HELiOS-Dokumentenbestand zum Zeitpunkt des Datenbank-Updates auf HELiOS 2600.0 noch unkonvertierte FIG-Dateien vorhanden sein, werden Sie vor dem Datenbank-Update auf die noch ausstehende Konvertierung dieser Dateien hingewiesen. In diesem Fall muss die Konvertierung noch vor oder spätestens im direkten Anschluss an das Update mittels Converter_FIG_To_FGA.exe durchgeführt werden.

Damit Objekte im HELiOS gelöscht werden können, müssen gewisse Voraussetzungen erfüllt sein (Berechtigung zum Löschen, keine aktive Bearbeitung, kein aktueller Export, kein alter Indexstand, keine Referenzierung in anderen Strukturen, usw.). Mit HELiOS 2020 SP2 wurde das Löschen wie folgt erweitert:

• Beim simultanen Löschen mehrerer Objekte erfolgt die Löschung in optimaler Reihenfolge bzgl. ggf. existierender Referenzen in Modell- oder Produktstrukturen.
• Falls Objekte nicht gelöscht werden können, werden die entsprechenden Ursachen gesammelt und in einemErgebnisdialog dargestellt.

Ab HELIOS 2020 Service Pack 2 steht Ihnen in der Office-Kopplung der aus den MultiCAD-Kopplungen bekannte Dialog HELiOS-Optionen zur Verfügung. Neben den Einstellungen zum Arbeitsbereich und zur Übernahme von Attributen nach HELiOS haben Sie hier die Möglichkeit festzulegen, dass beim Start von Office die HELiOS-Anmeldung automatisch erfolgt. Falls diese Option aktiv ist, kann im HELiOS-Desktop nicht mit der integrierten Office-Preview gearbeitet werden.

Bei individuellen Änderungen der HELiOS-Benutzeroberfläche mit Hilfe des Maskeneditors, können Sie (ab HELiOS 2020 SP2) mit wenigen Mausklicks das Format eines bestimmten Steuerelementes auf ein anderes Maskeneelement übertragen. Auch die  Mehrfachauswahl von Maskenelementen ist möglich.

Dazu markieren Sie zunächst mit der linken Maustaste das Element, dessen Format übernommen werden soll (dieses wird violett markiert) und danach bei gedrückter STRG-Taste das Element / die Elemente der aktiven Maske, auf die das Format übertragen werden soll. Diese werden dunkelblau umrandet.

Bitte beachten Sie bei der Installation von HELiOS 2020 SP2 bzgl. des Spoolers Folgendes:

In der vorangegangenen Versionen war die Einstellung der Datenbank-Verbindung optional bzw. nur für bestimmte Kopplungen erforderlich. Ab HELiOS 2020 Service Pack 2 (Version 2502) ist dies eine Pflichtangabe. Dies garantiert einen noch stabileren Ablauf des Spooler-Betriebs.

Beachten Sie bitte, dass dies auch für Update-Installationen gilt.

Um bei der Suche nach einem bestimmten Objekt der HELiOS-Datenbank (Dokument, Artikel, Projekt, Mappe, ...) nicht zwischen Tastatur (Eingabe der Suchkriterien) und Maus (Initiieren der Suche) hin- und herwechseln zu müssen, lässt sich ab HELiOS 2020 die Suche auch mit der F3-Taste ausführen.
Sie müssen also in der entsprechenden, aktiven Suchmaske nicht mit der Maus auf Suchen klicken, sondern können die Suche auch nach manuell eingegebenen Kriterien einfach über die Tastatur mit F3 ausführen.

Im Kontextmenü und im Detailfenster-Ribbon eines HELiOS Dokumentes steht unter Allgemein seit HELiOS 2020 die Funktion Öffnen mit Optionen... zur Verfügung.

Handelt es sich bei dem Dokument um eine HiCAD-Konstruktion (SZA-Format), dann wird ein erweiterter Dialog mit zusätzlichen Optionen zum reduzierten Laden angezeigt. Hier können Sie auswählen, wie beim Laden mit isolierten Punkten verfahren werden soll. Außerdem können Sie durch Aktivieren der Checkbox Mit Schreibschutz öffnen festlegen, dass das Dokument nur zur Ansicht und nicht zur Bearbeitung geladen werden soll.

Die im Arbeitsbereich angezeigten Dokumente können ab HELiOS 2020 SP1 gefiltert werden,so  dass nur die direkt geöffneten Dokumente angezeigt werden. Bei vielen parallel geöffneten Dokumenten macht dies den Arbeitsbereich, der Ihnen in gekoppelten Applikationen zur Verfügung steht, übersichtlicher.

Die Kennungen für Normteile und Halbzeuge, die HELiOS zur Wiedererkennung entsprechender Bauteile in der Inventor- bzw. Solidworks-Kopplung benötigt, werden ab HELiOS 2020 am Dokumentstamm gespeichert. Die aktuelle Datenhaltung am Dokumentstamm bietet viele Vorteile:

• Verwaltung von Normteilen ohne verknüpften Artikelstamm,
• Verknüpfung mehrerer Normteile mit einem Artikelstamm (z. B. für den Umgang mit älteren Daten und für Halbzeugdokumente) und
• für Halbzeuge Wiedererkennung von Bauteilen anhand der Länge eines Halbzeugs.

Mit HELiOS 2020 (V. 2500.0) steht ein neuer Maskeneditor zur Verfügung, der sich mit einem modernen Ribbon-Design präsentiert und auch den Betrieb mit hohen Auflösungen unterstützt. 

Gleichzeitig ist auch das Maskenformat umgestellt worden - vom bisherigen MSK-Format auf das XML-Format. Darüber hinaus werden Maskendateien jetzt außerhalb des HiCAD / HELiOS Installationsverzeichnis verwaltet. Dadurch ergeben sich einige Änderungen in der Systemarchitektur, die Administratoren dringend beachten sollten.

• Die früher im SYS-Verzeichnis der Installation abgelegten Masken älterer Versionen (vor 2500.0) werden von einer Update-Installation automatisch in das neue XML-Format konvertiert und unter %Programdata% abgelegt.
• Die neuen Masken unter %Programdata% sollten auf keinen Fall überschrieben werden, da es sich bei diesen um den "Auslieferungszustand" handelt, welcher auch von späteren Update-Installationen weiter aktualisiert wird. Werden Masken mit dem Maskeneditor bearbeitet und geändert, so müssen Sie diese unter %Appdata% ablegen und aufrufen.

Bisher wurde beim Einbau von Anbauteilen, z.B. Stahlbauanschlüssen, Treppen und Geländern sowie Element- und Profilverlegungen etc. ein vorhandener Artikelstamm von Halbzeugen nicht nach HiCAD übertragen. Seit HiCAD 2019 kann dieses Verhalten im Konfigurationsmanagement geändert werden. Dort steht unter PDM > HiCAD-HELiOS Schnittstelle der Parameter Beim Laden Halbzeugartikel ergänzen zur Verfügung. Die ISD-seitige Voreinstellung ist Nein, d.h. der Artikelstamm von Halbzeugen wird nicht übertragen.

Sollen beispielsweise Artikelstämme von Halbzeugen aus Anwenderkatalogen übertragen werden, dann setzen Sie den Parameter auf Ja.

As of HELiOS 2023 SP2  the Spooler supports the possibility to use the Windows functionality Microsoft Print to PDF for printing to PDF.

This output may be faster and an installation and setup of the ISD FilePrinter PS may not be necessary.

After an installation of HELiOS, the Windows context menu has been extended by default by the menu item Save to HELiOS.

This makes it possible to save documents in the HELiOS database in connection with HELiOSScan in this simple way if the automatic transfer did not take place (e.g. by cancelling the document dialogue or due to an error).

Under certain circumstances this feature is not desired. Therefore, as of version 2801 of HELiOS, it is no longer automatically set up during a new installation. If the context menu entry is to be created in the process, you can activate the checkbox Create context menu entry in Windows Explorer for saving files in HELiOS in the General tab of the Extended settings installation step dialogue.

For update installations of older versions, the option is active and can be deactivated at the same point if desired.

In result lists, the column Index up-to-dateness shows you via a symbol whether it is the most recent version index of a HELiOS object. If so, this is marked by a green dot, otherwise by an orange one.

If the column is not currently displayed, you only have to add the attribute Index up-to-dateness (Attribute name: "UI_DocumentNewerIndex" ) via the result list configuration.

When importing the HELiOS standard database with the HELiOS Database Creator, please note that its path on the installation DVD has changed.

As of HELiOS 2023 Service Pack 1, you will find the database there at ...\Databases\en.

If you are working with a HELiOS-MS Office or HELiOS-Outlook interface, you can add file attachments via the HELiOS menu item Attach document when creating an e-mail.
There is another easy way to add a HELiOS document as an attachment to an e-mail, for example if you see it already listed elsewhere, e.g. in a result list of HELiOS Desktop:
Mark the desired document with a right-click and choosePreselect document in the context menu.

In the HELiOS menu of an e-mail in edited mode, below  Attach document you will find the further menu item  Attach preselected document.

Click on it and the document marked elsewhere will be directly attached to the e-mail.

The file is named with the internal HELiOS file name (stored in the database attribute "HEL_Filename").

As with the new options for attribute mappings when generating file names for exporting files, you can also configure the output file name by means of an attribute mapping when printing neutral formats in files (e.g. when outputting PDFs via the HELiOS Spooler).

When saving SZA files to HELiOS, the HiCAD sheet structure is now also transferred to HELiOS. This contains the number of sheets and for each sheet the sheet type, the sheet number and the sheet name. The sheet structure of SZA documents is displayed in the model structure of the document master and in the revised Print dialogue.

Please note that when HiCAD is started, a message is displayed, informing you that the sheet structures must be added for inventory data. This can only be done with administrator rights. The adding may take longer, but can be interrupted at any time and continued later. This applies to the following HiCAD versions:

• HiCAD 2021: As of Version 2601.6
• HiCAD 2022: As of Version 2702.3
• HiCAD 2023: As of Version 2800.0

As of HELiOS 2023 (V 2800), the new HELiOS Server Monitor is available - a tool with which users can continuously monitor the server applications and will be informed if errors occur:

• Small separate installation for targeted distribution.
• Tray icon with status display and separate notification in case of errors.
• Initially monitoring of the Vault Server and Spooler.
• In addition to basic accessibility of the server application, errors are also displayed at runtime. For the Spooler, these are, e.g., failed jobs in the queue.

The output via the spooler (as of HELiOS 2022 SP1) has been extended by the following formats:

• ToPs GEO (*.geo) and

• Navisworks (*.nwc and *.nwd)

However, the export as .nwd file is only possible if a licensed version of Navisworks is available on the Spooler server.

With the Navisworks export via the Spooler - as with other formats - the entire model drawing is exported.

The ToPs GEO export only exports sheet developments or developments of sheets that exist in the drawing.

In the Database configuration of the HELiOS Options you will find the new setting Allow assignments of objects to read-only projects.

In principle, further objects can also be added to read-only projects (e.g. by Drag&Drop) if this option is set to Yes (default setting).

To prevent this, you can set No via the pull-down menu. This also prevents the creation or assignment of sub-projects. Editing or object assignments below sub-projects of a read-only project that are not themselves read-only are still possible, however.

To simplify work in different languages with HELiOS, you have the possibility in the Mask Editor to create multilingual text objects and to manage translated texts in a dictionary (as of HELiOS 2021).

On the left in the Mask Editor you will find the tab Dictionary texts.

All text keys that apply to the active mask are displayed here. By clicking on a corresponding text key, you can display all the dictionary texts available in the system and also change them manually by clicking in a field. In doing so, the "default texts" of HELiOS are replaced by your individual adaptations.

When editing existing text elements or creating new ones in masks, you can always work multilingually. To do this, just click on the Use multilingual button for a corresponding text object in the Properties window under Annotation.

When copying and pasting attribute values via the clipboard - also across different applications, e.g. from HELiOS and an ERP system or Microsoft Word - unit categories of (FLOAT) attributes will be considered as follows as of HiCAD 2022 SP2:

• The context menu function Copy attribute value copies a value to the clipboard as it is displayed in the result list. If the corresponding result list column also contains the unit (such as cm or inches), then this is also copied.
• When pasting the value into a target attribute with a different base unit by right-clicking and selecting Paste attribute value, the value will be converted accordingly.

Copying and pasting works according to the "WYSIWYG" principle. The value may not be copied with the highest accuracy. That means: If there is a higher number of decimal places on the side of the source attribute value than are displayed in an attribute field (without unit category) of the result list, then the value is displayed accordingly, rounded up after the decimal point if required.

Example:

Pasting a HELiOS source attribute value of 123.456 grams (FLOAT attribute of the category Mass, display unit: g), which is displayed in the corresponding result list field with 2 decimal places "123.46 g", into a field of the category Mass with the display unit kg with 3 decimal places, will be taken as the target attribute value in the corresponding display unit (0.123456 kilograms) and displayed in the result list as "0.123 kg".

With the help of HELiOS's derivation functions, existing objects can be used as the basis for new objects. This means that you copy all master data and, if applicable, also links of a HELiOS object into a new object of the same type - with a different name.

From HELiOS 2022 SP2 onwards this can also be applied to project and folder structures. The functions Derive project, without content... or Derive folders, without content... create an exact copy of the corresponding project or folder under a new name. All contents of the object such as sub-structures, linked documents, etc. are taken over if required.

In addition, you have the option of specifically including or excluding individual contents or sub-structures of a project or folder structure in the derivation.

The selection logic automatically takes hierarchies and dependencies into account.  If, for example, when deriving a project, a folder is selected that is assigned to different places in the project tree, then the folder is automatically selected at all corresponding places. Project and folder attributes can be changed before the derivation and the workflow can be selected automatically or individually for the projects/folders.

HiCAD drawings

Since times of more than 30 minutes may occur when processing very large HiCAD .SZA files via the Spooler, the possibility has been created to set the duration for a timeout, i.e. to set when a process in a loop is to be aborted. For this purpose, the switch <timeout_minutes>30</timeout_minutes> is available in the system file AddIn.Hicad.Config.xml (as of HELiOS 2022 SP1).

Updating Inventor drawing views

Autodesk Inventor updates drawing views first after opening a drawing. In previous HELiOS spooler versions, this could result in some views being exported to PDF as raster graphics, as the PDF output started before the update was complete in Inventor.

To improve the quality of the output at this point, you can set a configurable amount of time for HELiOS to wait for any updates to views. This is done via the switches

• <update_drawing_views_after_load> and
• <drawing_view_update_timeout_minutes>

in the configuration file AddIn.Inventor.Config.xml.

If HELiOS detects that all views are up to date before the set time period has elapsed, the print or PDF output is carried out earlier.

In HELiOS Desktop and the Multi-CAD interfaces, documents can also be loaded using the Open, with options function, which offers specific options for different file types. For example, documents can be opened with write protection (if they are to be loaded for viewing only and not for editing), additional options can be specified for reduced loading of HiCAD drawings, or attribute updates can be made directly when loading assemblies from Inventor or SOLIDWORKS.

With HELiOS 2022, the function has been significantly extended once again:

• Call via button directly from result lists

• Control of attribute and index updates (if required, deviating from the default settings in the respective interface). This improves performance, especially in situations where documents are only to be opened for viewing.
• In Autodesk Inventor, support for express mode for assemblies and for postponing the update of drawings (performance options).

Please note that the PDF preview in the HELiOS Desktop no longer works with Acrobat Reader DC from Version 2021.011.20039.

As an alternative, we recommend using Foxit Reader. Before installing it, you must uninstall Acrobat Reader DC. You may also have to adjust the configuration file hel_preview.ini if Acrobat Reader was explicitly defined for PDF preview there.6

The new  Revision index for model structure function (as of HELiOS 2022) is used to version HELiOS documents or parts and assemblies based on the CAD model structure, as with the New in HELiOS input dialogue or the Derived drawing function.

You can select for each document whether you want to index only this document or whether the link to an article should be taken over or broken up.

You now have the option of setting whether or not the Classification tab should be displayed in the respective search window for documents or articles (or in the combined search window):

In the HELiOS Options dialogue window, open the General tab and, under Find, activate the Show Classification tab in Find document/article dialogue checkbox.

The checkbox is deactivated by default.

When opening locally modified files from the HELiOS Workspace for which a newer version exists on the server, a corresponding message will be displayed. If you click OK in the message window, the local change is discarded and the server state of the file is reloaded and opened. If you click Cancel, the local version from the workspace is opened. If there is a new server version for files that have not been changed locally and are opened from the workspace, the newer server version is automatically loaded.

This is not only the case with the MultiCAD interfaces, but also with other applications coupled with HELiOS, such as Office.

In the Help menu of the HELiOS Desktop and the mask editor you will find the new  Upload file into the ISD File Centre... function. With the help of this function you can upload files directly from HELiOS into the ISD File Centre, e.g. in connection with the ISD Support for an already existing support ticket.

Discontinuation of the ISD.PDM.API

Before carrying out a HELiOS update for an older HiCAD version, please note that from HELiOS 2022 omwards, the previous ISD.PDM.API will be discontinued and replaced by the new API from Helios.Interface. If you use customisations that use functionalities from the previous ISD.PDM.API, you must update the customisations to the new API before carrying out the HELiOS update. If you use customisations that use functionalities from the HiCAD API, you should ensure that the HiCAD version used is at least version 2502.5 or 2601.1 or newer. If you are unsure whether you are using corresponding adaptations, please talk to your administrator or contact the ISD in case of doubt.

HELiOS.Interface-API

The HELiOS.Interface API is an API independent of HiCAD with which you can conveniently create, search for or change objects such as Projects, Documents and Articles. Workflow editing can also be facilitated with the API.

Working with the API does not require an additional module, but it does require participation in a training course and programming knowledge.

The formatting for system date attributes can now (as of HELiOS 2021 SP1) be controlled via a new database option. For user-defined date attributes, the setting controls the default display.

As of HELiOS 2021 SP! parts from the clipboard (e.g. by means of CTRL+C) can be placed very efficiently into an assembly by means of a new function. The performance advantage compared to the normal insert function (CTRL+V) is particularly noticeable when inserting a very large number of parts simultaneously.

In addition to being able to draw a frame around elements to visually group them together, you can also insert actual group boxes into masks whose elements behave in a grouped manner.

This also allows, for example, that moving and positioning group boxes affects all associated elements. Elements in a group frame must have been marked for this in each case.

Also, group boxes can contain header icons.

If an SZA file is opened via the Vault Server, which is locked there for writing, then it cannot be saved later either.

When opening such a file, HiCAD displays a corresponding warning message:

If you select Yes, the file will be opened in read mode. If you select No, the opening of the file will be cancelled.

If an attempt is made to save a file opened in read mode, the following message appears:

When deleting articles, their use in HELiOS product structures is checked. If there are articles in product structures whose header is not to be deleted, a CAD relevance check is also carried out for them.

If articles were entered exclusively non-CAD-relevant in product structures (whereby they can be deleted and simultaneously removed from all shoring), you will receive a warning message with the option to confirm a respective deletion for the corresponding articles (and thus also the deletion of all existing shoring in product structures).

The prerequisite is, of course, that the logged-in user has the appropriate authorisation for the process.

As of HELiOS 2021 (Version 2600.0), the following versions of MultiCAD interfaces are no longer supported:

• AutoCAD (Mechanical) 2016 and 2017,
• Inventor 2016 and 2017,
• Navisworks 2016 and 2017,
• SOLIDWORKS 2016 and 2017.

If you use HiCAD in conjunction with HELiOS, the settings for part exchange from the HELiOS Database Options on the HiCAD tab were previously taken into account when exchanging referenced parts. These settings can now be found in the Configuration Editor at System settings > Referencing in the HELiOS section.

As of HiCAD 2021 the new test Non-BOM-relevant parts with HELiOS article master is available in the Design Checker .

If a model drawing contains parts with article master data, some of which are BOM-relevant and some of which are not, there may be problems when transferring the product structure to HELiOS. With the new test, all parts can be found that have an article master but are not BOM-relevant.

When transferring model drawings with the New in HELiOS function, suppressed parts in SOLIDWORKS are also taken into account.

Suppressed parts are indicated as such and regularly offered for transfer to HELiOS.

Parts which are suppressed by SOLIDWORKS due to missing references are also marked accordingly in the dialogue.

Please note that when transferring parts to HELiOS, their file path changes, as transferred parts are located in the HELiOS workspace directory. This may mean that when suppressions are removed later, the previous file paths can no longer be restored and you have to break up the corresponding references manually in this case.

As of HELiOS 2021, the HELiOS Options dialogues of the different HELiOS interfaces have been standardized. For this purpose, the previous options dialogue from the HELiOS Desktop was extended. In addition, the import and export of options has been extended so that the (new) options from the HELiOS interfaces can also be exchanged between different workplaces or distributed during the installation.

Since HiCAD 2017 we support FGA as figure format (before that FIG). As of HiCAD/HELiOS 2021 or HELiOS 2021 as an update for HiCAD 2019/2020, we require that all figures stored using HELiOS have previously been converted to the new FGA format. To convert existing 2-D FIG files, the tool Converter_FIG_To_FGA.exe is available in the exe directory of the HiCAD installation.

If there are still unconverted FIG files in the HELiOS document database at the time of the database update to HELiOS 2600.0, you will be informed of the outstanding conversion of these files before the database update. In this case, the conversion must be carried out before or at the latest directly after the update using Converter_FIG_To_FGA.exe.

In order to delete objects in the HELiOS, certain conditions must be met (authorization to delete, no active editing, no current export, no old index, no referencing in other structures, etc.). With HELiOS 2020 Sp2 the deletion has been extended as follows:

• When deleting several objects simultaneously, the deletion is done in an optimal order with respect to existing references in model or product structures.
• If objects cannot be deleted, the corresponding causes are collected and displayed in a result dialogue.

If you are working with a HELiOS-MS Office interface, since HELiOS 2020 SP2 an Options dialogue is also available for this, as already known from the HELiOS-MultiCAD interfaces.

In addition to Settings for the Workspace and for Attribute assignments, you can also prevent the HELiOS login dialogue from being shown at each start of an Office application by activating the option Automatic HELiOS login when starting the Office application under Settings for the Documents.

When you start Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Outlook, you are then automatically logged on in this application with the active HELiOS user.

When customizing the HELiOS user interface with the Mask Editor, you can transfer the format of a specific control element to another, or a multiple selection of mask elements, with just a few mouse clicks.

Please note that this also applies to update installations.

To avoid having to switch between keyboard (entering the search criteria) and mouse (initiating the search) when searching for a specific object in the HELiOS Database (Document, Article, Project, Folder, ...), you can also use the F3 key to perform the search.

You must therefore click on Find with the mouse in the corresponding, active search mask, but you can also execute the search using the keyboard with F3 for manually entered criteria.

In the context menu and in the detail window ribbon of a HELiOS document, you will find the new function Open, with options under General .(as of HELiOS 2020).

If the document is an HiCAD drawing file (SZA format), an extended dialogue with additional options for reduced loading appears. This means that you can optionally select how to proceed when loading with isolated points. You can also activate the Open, read-only checkbox in this dialogue if the document should only be loaded for viewing and not for editing.

As of HELiOS 2020 SP1 the documents displayed in the Workspace can now be filtered so that only the directly opened documents are displayed.

If there are many documents that are open at the same time, this makes the Workspace available to you in linked applications clearer.

The identifiers for standard parts and semi-finished products, which HELiOS needs for the recognition of corresponding parts in the Inventor or SOLIDWORKS interface, are stored in the document master as of HELiOS 2020.

The current data management at the document master offers many advantages, because this method of working also allows the management of standard parts without a linked article master, allows the linking of several standard parts with an article master (e.g. for handling older data and for semi-finished product documents) iand also allows for semi-finished products the recognition of parts by the length of a semi-finished product.

With HELiOS 2020 (version 2500) you will find a new Mask Editor on the Admin Tools tab of the HELiOS Desktop, which has been adapted to the latest state of the art with a modern Look & Feel and thus offers some innovations and advantages compared to the previous version.

In addition to a modern Ribbon design, which also supports operation at high resolutions, this has laid the foundation for further expansion of the masks and the Editor in 2020.

Due to the complete revision of the Mask Editor in HELiOS 2020, the previous mask format has been changed from .MSK to .XML. In addition, mask files are now managed outside the installation directory, resulting in some changes in the system architecture that Administrators must consider:

• The masks of older versions (before V 2500.0) that were previously stored in the SYS directory of the installation are automatically converted to the new XML format in case of an update installation and stored at %Programdata%.
• The new masks at %Programdata% should not be overwritten under any circumstances, as these represent the "delivery status", which will be updated by later update installations. If masks are edited and changed with the Mask Editor, you must store and call them at %Appdata%.

In previous versions, existing article masters of semi-finished products were not transferred to HiCAD when inserting attached parts such as Steel Engineering connections, stairs, railings, element installations, profile installations etc.

From HiCAD 2019 onwards this behaviour can be changed via a setting in the Configuration Editor: At PDM > HiCAD-HELiOS Interface you can find the parameter Add semi-finished product article when loading. The ISD default setting is No, i.e. the article master of semi-finished products will not be transferred.

For example, when transferring article masters of semi-finished products from user-defined catalogues, set the parameter to Yes.

Avec HELiOS 2023 SP2, le Spooler permet d'utiliser la fonctionnalité Windows Microsoft Print to PDF pour l'impression en PDF.

Cette option peut être plus rapide et il n'est pas nécessaire d'installer et de configurer l'ISD FilePrinter PS.

Après l'installation de HELiOS, le menu contextuel Windows était jusqu'à présent complété par défaut avec l'option Enregistrer dans HELiOS afin de permettre, dans le cadre HELiOS Scan, l'enregistrement de documents dans la base de données HELiOS. En cas d'interruption de la boîte de dialogue du document ou d'une erreur lors du transfert sans boîte de dialogue, le transfert automatique ne s'effectuait cependant pas.

C'est pourquoi, à partir de la version 2801 d'HELiOS, elle n'est plus installée automatiquement lors d'une nouvelle installation. Si l'entrée du menu contextuel doit être créée à cette occasion, vous pouvez activer la case Créer une entrée de menu contextuel dans l'Explorateur Windows pour l'enregistrement des fichiers dans HELiOS dans l'onglet Général dans la fenêtre Paramètres avancés lors de l'installation.

Pour les installations de mise à jour de versions plus anciennes, l'option est activée et peut être désactivée, si souhaité, au même endroit.

Dans les listes des résultats, la colonne Actualité de l’index vous indique par un symbole s’il s’agit de la dernière version de l’index d’un objet HELiOS. Si c’est le cas, cela est signalé par un rond vert, sinon par un rond orange. 

Si la colonne ne s’affiche pas, il vous suffit d’ajouter l’attribut Actualité de l’index (nom de l’attribut : "UI_DocumentNewerIndex") via la configuration de la liste des résultats.

Veuillez noter que pour l'importation de la base de données par défaut HELiOS avec HELiOS Database Creator, son chemin d'accès a changé sur le DVD d'installation.

À partir d'HELiOS 2023 Service Pack 1, celle-ci se trouve sous \Databases\fr\ (ou \Databases\de\ pour la version allemande et \Databases\en\ pour la version anglaise).

Si vous travaillez avec un couplage HELiOS avec MS-Office ou Outlook, vous pouvez ajouter des pièces jointes via la recherche de documents HELiOS lorsque vous créez un e-mail en utilisant le menu HELiOS  Joindre le document.
Il existe une autre manière simple d'ajouter un document HELiOS en pièce jointe à un e-mail, par exemple si vous le voyez déjà dans une liste, par exemple dans une liste de résultats d'HELiOS Desktop :  
Sélectionnez le document souhaité avec le bouton droit de la souris et choisissez, dans le menu contextuel qui s'ouvre,  Présélectionner le document.

Dans la barre de menu HELiOS d’un e-mail en mode Édition, vous trouverez sous  Joindre le document l'option de menu  Joindre le document présélectionné.

Cliquez sur ce bouton et le document présélectionné à un autre endroit sera directement joint à l’e-mail.  

Tout comme pour les nouvelles possibilités d'attributions d'attributs pour la génération du nom de fichier, vous pouvez également configurer le nom du fichier à l'aide d'un mapping d'attributs lors de l'impression de formats neutres dans des fichiers (par ex. lors de la génération de PDF via HELiOS Spooler).

Lors de l’enregistrement de fichiers SZA vers HELiOS, la structure des feuilles HiCAD est également transférée vers HELiOS. Celle-ci contient le Nombre de feuilles et, pour chaque feuille, le Type, le Numéro de la feuille et le Nom de la feuille. La structure des feuilles des documents SZA peut ensuite être consultée dans la structure de modélisation de la fiche de document et dans la fenêtre d’impression améliorée.

Veuillez noter qu’au démarrage de HiCAD, un message indique que les structures des feuilles doivent être actualisées pour les données existantes. Cette opération ne peut être effectuée qu’avec des droits d’administration. L’actualisation peut prendre un certain temps, mais peut être interrompue à tout moment et reprise plus tard. Cela s’applique aux versions suivantes de HiCAD :

• HiCAD 2021 : à partir de la Version 2601.6
• HiCAD 2022 : à partir de la Version 2702.3
• HiCAD 2023 : à partir de la Version 2800.0

À partir d’HELiOS 2023 (V. 2800), le nouvel outil HELiOS Server Monitor permet aux utilisateurs de superviser en continu les applications serveur et d’être informés lorsque des erreurs se produisent :

• Courte installation séparée pour une utilisation ciblée.
• Icône dans la barre d’état avec affichage du statut et message individuel en cas d’erreur.
• Supervision tout d’abord du Vault Server et du Spooler.
• Outre l’accessibilité de base à l’application serveur, les erreurs des applications en cours d’exécution sont également affichées. Dans le cas du Spooler, il s’agit par exemple de l’échec d’un ordre en attente.

Depuis la Version 2022 SP1, le HELiOS Spooler prend également en charge les formats de fichiers

• ToPs GEO (*.geo) et
• Navisworks (*.nwc et *.nwd).

L’exportation en tant que fichier nwd n’est toutefois possible que si une version sous licence de Navisworks est disponible sur le Spooler Server.

Lors de l’exportation de Navisworks via le Spooler, la scène dans son ensemble est exportée, comme c’est le cas pour les autres formats. L’exportation ToPs GEO n’exporte que les développements de tôles ou les développements de tôles présents sur la scène. 

Vous trouvez, dans la Configuration de la base de données des Options HELiOS, le nouveau paramètre Permettre une attribution des objets à des projets en lecture seule.

Dans le principe, il est possible d’ajouter également (par ex. avec un drag & drop) d’autres objets à des projets protégés en écriture, dès lors que la valeur "Oui" (valeur par défaut) a été définie pour cette option. Pour empêcher cette possibilité, il suffit de sélectionner Non dans la liste de choix.

Remarque : La création ou l’attribution de sous-projets sera par là également interdite. Les modifications ou les attributions d’objets dans un sous-projet qui est situé dans un projet protégé en écriture, mais qui n’est lui-même pas protégé en écriture, restent cependant toujours possible.

Pour simplifier le travail international avec HELiOS, vous avez la possibilité dans l’Éditeur de masque de créer directement des objets de texte multilingues et d’en gérer les traductions (à partir de HELiOS 2021).

À gauche de l’Éditeur de masque, vous trouvez à cette fin l’onglet Texte de traduction.

Toutes les clés de texte valables pour le masque actif y sont affichées. En cliquant sur une clé de texte correspondante, vous pouvez afficher tous les textes de traduction disponibles dans le système et les modifier manuellement en cliquant dans un champ. Les "textes par défaut" de HELiOS sont alors remplacés par vos traductions personnelles.

Lors de la modification d’éléments de texte existants ou de la création de nouveaux éléments de texte dans les masques, vous pouvez en principe travailler en plusieurs langues. Pour cela, il vous suffit de cliquer, dans la fenêtre des Propriétés sous Annotation, sur le bouton Utiliser multilingue.

Lorsque des valeurs d’attributs sont copiées et collées via le presse-papier – également entre différentes applications, par exemple de HELiOS et d’un système ERP ou de Microsoft Word – les catégories d’unités des attributs (FLOAT) sont prises en compte comme suit à partir de HiCAD 2022 SP2 :

• La fonction du menu contextuel Copier la valeur d’attribut copie une valeur dans le presse-papier telle qu’elle est représentée dans la liste des résultats. Si la colonne correspondante de la liste des résultats contient également l’unité (par exemple cm ou pouces), celle-ci est également copiée.
• Si l’attribut est collé via la fonction clic droit > Coller la valeur d’attribut dans un attribut cible avec une autre unité de base, la valeur est alors convertie en conséquence.

La fonction copier-coller fonctionne selon le principe "WYSIWYG". Il se peut que la valeur ne soit pas copiée avec la plus grande précision. Cela signifie que si la valeur de l’attribut source comporte un nombre de chiffres après la virgule supérieur à celui affiché dans un champ d’attribut (sans catégorie d’unité) de la liste des résultats, la valeur sera affichée en conséquence, le cas échéant arrondie à la virgule supérieure.

Exemple :

L’insertion d’une valeur d’attribut HELiOS source de 123,456 grammes (attribut FLOAT de la Catégorie Masse, Unité affichée : g), affichée dans le champ correspondant de la liste des résultats avec 2 décimales "123,46 g", dans un champ de la Catégorie Masse avec l’Unité affichée kg avec 3 décimales, est reprise comme valeur d’attribut cible dans l’unité affichée correspondante (0,123456 kilogramme) et apparaît dans la liste des résultats sous la forme "0,123 kg"

À l’aide des fonctions de dérivation de HELiOS, il est possible d’utiliser des objets existants comme base pour créer de nouveaux objets. Cela signifie que vous copiez toutes les données de fiche et, le cas échéant, les liens d’un objet HELiOS dans un nouvel objet de même type, mais avec un nom différent.

À partir de HELiOS 2022 SP2, cela vaut également pour les structures de projet et de classeur. Les fonctions Dériver projet, sans contenu... ou Dériver classeur, sans contenu... créent une copie exacte du projet ou du classeur correspondant sous un nouveau nom. Tous les contenus de l’objet tels que les sous-structures, les documents liés, etc. sont repris si nécessaire.

En outre, vous avez la possibilité de reprendre ou d’exclure de manière ciblée dans la dérivation certains contenus ou sous-structures d’une structure de projet ou de classeur.

La logique de sélection tient automatiquement compte des hiérarchies et des dépendances.  Si, par exemple, lors de la dérivation d’un projet, un classeur qui y est contenu et qui est affecté à différents endroits de l’arborescence du projet est également sélectionné, le classeur est alors automatiquement sélectionné à tous les endroits correspondants. Les attributs de projet et de classeur peuvent être modifiés avant la dérivation et le flux de travail peut être sélectionné automatiquement ou individuellement pour les projets/classeurs.

HELiOS Spooler : configuration du délai d’attente pour les fichiers HiCAD et actualisation des vues de dessin Inventor

Depuis la version HELiOS 2022 Service Pack 1, il est possible de contrôler le comportement d’impression ou de conversion du spooler HELiOS, par exemple pour les fichiers SZA de HiCAD. Comme le traitement de très grandes quantités de données par le spooler peut éventuellement entraîner des temps de calcul supérieurs à 30 minutes, il est désormais possible de régler la durée du timeout (délai d’attente) à partir de laquelle un processus éventuellement "en suspens" est interrompu.

Le bouton <timeout_minutes>30</timeout_minutes> du fichier système AddIn.Hicad.Config.xml.den remplit cette fonction. La valeur par défaut de 30 minutes peut être modifiée manuellement si nécessaire.

Si vous utilisez le spouleur HELiOS dans le cadre d’un couplage Inventor, vous disposez ici aussi de possibilités de paramétrage étendues pour ce comportement.

Dans le bureau HELiOS Desktop et les couplages multi-CAO, les documents peuvent également être chargés avec la fonction Ouvrir avec options qui propose des options spécifiques aux différents types de fichiers. Par exemple, les documents en lecture seule (quand ceux-ci ne doivent être chargés que pour être visualisés et non pas pour être modifiés) peuvent être ouverts, ou des options supplémentaires peuvent être spécifiées pour un chargement réduit des scènes HiCAD, ou encore, la possibilité de procéder à l’actualisation des attributs au chargement d’ensembles depuis Inventor ou SOLIDWORKS.

Avec HELiOS 2022, cette fonction a été grandement complétée :

• Exécution par un bouton directement depuis la liste des résultats

• Contrôle de l’actualisation des attributs et des index (éventuellement différent des paramètres prédéfinis dans le couplage correspondant). Cela permet d’améliorer les performances, en particulier dans les situations où les documents ne doivent être ouverts que pour être consultés.
• Dans Autodesk Inventor, prise en charge du mode express pour les ensembles et du report de l’actualisation des dessins (options de performance).

Veuillez noter que l’aperçu PDF dans le bureau HELiOS Desktop ne fonctionne plus avec Acrobat Reader DC àpartir de la version 2021.011.20039.

Comme alternative, nous recommandons Foxit Reader. Avant de l’installer, vous devez désinstaller Acrobat Reader DC. Il est possible que vous deviez également adapter le fichier de configuration hel_preview.ini, si Acrobat Reader y a été explicitement défini pour l’aperçu PDF.

À l’aide de la nouvelle fonction Indexer la structure de modélisation (à partir de HELiOS 2022), un versioning des documents ou des éléments et ensembles de HELiOS est exécuté sur la base de la structure de modélisation CAO, de manière analogue à la fonctionnalité de la fenêtre de saisie Nouveau dans HELiOS ou de la Scène de dérivation.

Pour chaque document, vous pouvez choisir d’indexer uniquement celui-ci ou encore de reprendre ou d’annuler le lien avec un article.

À partir de HELiOS 2022, dans les options HELiOS, sous Général > Recherche, vous avez la possibilité de définir si l’onglet de classification doit être affiché ou non dans la fenêtre de recherche des documents ou des articles respectivement (ou encore dans le cadre de la recherche combinée).

Par défaut, cette option est désactivée.

Lors de l’ouverture de fichiers modifiés localement depuis l’espace de travail HELiOS et pour lesquels une version plus récente est disponible sur le serveur, un message d’avertissement apparaît. Vous pouvez alors décider en un clic si la modification locale doit être annulée, si la version serveur du fichier doit être rechargée ou si la version locale doit être ouverte depuis l’espace de travail.

Si, pour les fichiers non modifiés localement qui sont ouverts depuis l’espace de travail, une nouvelle version du serveur existe, la version la plus récente du serveur est automatiquement chargée.

Si, lors d'une demande d'un support technique, vous utilisez le Filecenter de ISD pour l'échange de données, vous avez la possibilité, à partir de HELiOS 2022, de télécharger des fichiers directement depuis HiCAD. À cette fin, vous disposez dans le menu Aide de la nouvelle fonction Télécharger un fichier dans l'ISD Filecenter.

Abandon de ISD.PDM.API

Avant d’effectuer une mise à jour HELiOS pour une ancienne version de HiCAD, veuillez noter qu’à partir de HELiOS 2022, l’ancienne ISD.PDM.API sera abandonnée et remplacée par la nouvelle API de Helios.Interface. Si vous utilisez des adaptations qui utilisent des fonctionnalités de l’ancienne ISD.PDM.API, vous devez actualiser les adaptations vers la nouvelle API avant d’effectuer la mise à jour d’HELiOS. Si vous utilisez des adaptations qui utilisent des fonctionnalités de HiCAD-API, vous devez vous assurer que la version HiCAD utilisée est au moins la version 2502.5 ou 2601.1 ou plus récente. Si vous n’êtes pas certain d’utiliser les adaptations correspondantes, veuillez contacter votre Administrateur ou, en cas de doute, tournez-vous vers ISD.

API HELiOS.Interface

L’API HELiOS.Interface est une API indépendante de HiCAD avec laquelle vous pouvez confortablement créer, recherche ou modifier des objets, tels que par exemple des projets, des documents et des articles. La gestion des workflows peut également être plus conviviale avec l’API.

Le format de l'heure et de la date peut désormais être modifié. Par exemple, l'affichage standard peut être modifié au format américain (à partir de HELiOS 2021 SP1) .

Pour l’Éditeur de masque HELiOS, une différence est faite entre les Cadres d’encart et (à partir de HELiOS 2021 SP1) les Encarts de fenêtre.

Les cadres d’encart ne constituent en fait qu’un élément visuel qui encadre les éléments du masque.

En revanche, les éléments situés dans les encarts de fenêtre se comportent en fait de manière "groupée". Cela permet, par exemple, que le déplacement et le positionnement de ces encarts affectent tous les éléments appartenant au groupe. Les éléments d'un cadre d’encart, en revanche, auraient dû chacun être sélectionnés.

Une icône peut être intégrée dans l’intitulé des cadres et encarts.

Si un fichier SZA est ouvert via le serveur Vault et qu'il est verrouillé en écriture, il ne pourra pas non plus par la suite être sauvegardé.

À l'ouverture d'un tel fichier, HiCAD affiche un message d'avertissement correspondant :

Si vous sélectionnez Oui, le fichier sera ouvert en mode lecture. Si vous sélectionnez Non, l'ouverture du fichier sera annulée.

Si une tentative d'enregistrement d'un fichier ouvert en mode lecture est effectuée, le message suivant apparaît :

Lors de la suppression d'articles, leur utilisation dans les structures de produits HELiOS est vérifiée. S'il existe des articles dans les structures de produits dont l'en-tête ne doit pas être supprimé, un contrôle de la pertinence en CAO est également effectué pour ceux-ci.

Si des articles ont été saisis exclusivement sans pertinence CAO dans les structures de produits (ce qui permet de les supprimer et de les retirer simultanément de tous les structures), un message d'avertissement apparaîtra pour permettre de confirmer la suppression de tous les articles et de leurs structures respectives existantes.

La condition préalable est, bien entendu, de posséder les droits appropriés pour cette action.

À partir de HELiOS 2021 (Version 2600.0), les versions suivantes des connexions multi-CAO ne seront plus supportées :

• AutoCAD (Mechanical) 2016 et 2017

• Inventor 2016 et 2017

• Navisworks 2016 et 2017

• SOLIDWORKS 2016 et 2017

Si vous utilisez HELiOS avec HiCAD, les paramètres d’échange d’éléments provenant des options de la base de données HELiOS dans l’onglet HiCAD étaient auparavant pris en compte lors de l’échange des éléments référencées. À partir de HiCAD 2021, ces paramètres se trouvent dans le Gestionnaire de Configuration sous Paramètres système > Référencement dans la section HELiOS.

Si une scène HiCAD contient des éléments avec des données de fiche d’article, dont certains sont pertinents pour la nomenclature et d’autres non, cela peut poser des problèmes au moment du transfert de la structure produit vers HELiOS. À partir de HiCAD 2021, le Design Checker de HiCAD met à disposition le nouveau test Éléments non pertinents pour la nomenclature avec fiche d’article HELiOS.

Ce nouveau test permet de retrouver tous les éléments qui ont une fiche d’article mais qui ne sont pas pertinents pour la nomenclature.

Au moment de récupérer des scènes à l’aide de la fonction Nouveau dans HELiOS, les composants SOLIDWORKS supprimés seront également pris en compte.

Les éléments supprimés seront alors identifiés en particulier et proposés naturellement pour être récupérés dans HELiOS.

Les composants qui sont supprimés par SOLIDWORKS en raison de références manquantes sont également identifiés comme tels dans la boîte de dialogue.

Notez que lorsque les composants sont transférés vers HELiOS, leur chemin de fichier change car les éléments transférés sont situés dans le répertoire de l’espace de travail d’HELiOS. Cela peut aboutir à ce que les chemins de fichiers précédents ne peuvent pas être restaurés lorsque les statuts supprimés sont retirés par la suite. Dans ce cas, vous devez résoudre manuellement les références correspondantes.

Avec HELiOS 2021, les dialogues d’options des différentes intégrations HELiOS ont été combinés en une seule application. À cet effet, le dialogue d’options précédent du Desktop HELiOS a été complété. De plus, l’importation et l’exportation d’options ont été étendues afin que les (nouvelles) options des intégrations HELiOS puissent également être échangées entre différents postes de travail ou distribuées lors de l’installation.

Depuis HiCAD 2017, nous supportons le format FGA comme format de fichier (qui était auparavant FIG). A partir de HiCAD/HELiOS 2021 ou HELiOS 2021 comme mise à jour de HiCAD 2019/2020, nous exigeons que toutes les figures stockées avec HELiOS aient été préalablement converties au nouveau format FGA. Pour convertir ces fichiers 2D FIG existants, l'outil Converter_FIG_To_FGA.exe est disponible depuis le dossier EXE présent dans le répertoire d'installation de HiCAD.

Si, au moment de la mise à jour de la base de données vers HELiOS 2600.0, il existe encore des fichiers FIG non convertis dans la base de données HELiOS, vous serez informé de la suspension de la conversion de ces fichiers avant la mise à jour de la base de données. Dans ce cas, la conversion devra être effectuée avant ou au plus tard directement après la mise à jour en utilisant l'outil Converter_FIG_To_FGA.exe.

Depuis HELiOS 2021 (Version 2600), les fichiers d'installation 32 Bit de HELiOS et de HELiOS Viewer ne sont plus disponibles depuis la zone de téléchargement du Wiki ISD. Si une installation 32 Bit de ces produits est requise, merci d'adresser un email au support ISD à support@isdgroup.fr.

A partir de HELiOS 2022 (Version number 2700.0), les versions 32 Bit de HELiOS et de HELiOS Viewer ne seront plus disponibles. Cependant, il est important de noter que la liaison vers des applications 32 Bit telles que Microsoft Office seront toujours possibles et ne seront pas affectés par l'arrêt de la livraison de nos produits dans leurs version 32 Bit.

Pour pouvoir supprimer des objets dans HELiOS, certaines conditions doivent être remplies (autorisation de suppression, pas d'édition active, pas d'exportation en cours, pas d'ancien index, pas de référencement dans d'autres structures, etc.) Avec HELiOS 2020 SP2, la suppression a été étendue comme suit :

• Lorsque l'on supprime plusieurs objets simultanément, la suppression se fait dans un ordre optimal par rapport aux références existantes dans les structures des modèles ou des produits.
• Si les objets ne peuvent pas être supprimés, les causes correspondantes sont rassemblées et affichées dans une liste de résultat:

If you are working with a HELiOS-MS Office interface, since HELiOS 2020 SP2 an Options dialogue is also available for this, as already known from the HELiOS-MultiCAD interfaces.

In addition to Settings for the Workspace and for Attribute assignments, you can also prevent the HELiOS login dialogue from being shown at each start of an Office application by activating the option Automatic HELiOS login when starting the Office application under Settings for the Documents.

When you start Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Outlook, you are then automatically logged on in this application with the active HELiOS user.

When customizing the HELiOS user interface with the Mask Editor, you can transfer the format of a specific control element to another, or a multiple selection of mask elements, with just a few mouse clicks.

Please note that this also applies to update installations.

To avoid having to switch between keyboard (entering the search criteria) and mouse (initiating the search) when searching for a specific object in the HELiOS Database (Document, Article, Project, Folder, ...), you can also use the F3 key to perform the search.

You must therefore click on Find with the mouse in the corresponding, active search mask, but you can also execute the search using the keyboard with F3 for manually entered criteria.

In the context menu and in the detail window ribbon of a HELiOS document, you will find the new function Open, with options under General .(as of HELiOS 2020).

If the document is an HiCAD drawing file (SZA format), an extended dialogue with additional options for reduced loading appears. This means that you can optionally select how to proceed when loading with isolated points. You can also activate the Open, read-only checkbox in this dialogue if the document should only be loaded for viewing and not for editing.

As of HELiOS 2020 SP1 the documents displayed in the Workspace can now be filtered so that only the directly opened documents are displayed.

If there are many documents that are open at the same time, this makes the Workspace available to you in linked applications clearer.

The identifiers for standard parts and semi-finished products, which HELiOS needs for the recognition of corresponding parts in the Inventor or SOLIDWORKS interface, are stored in the document master as of HELiOS 2020.

The current data management at the document master offers many advantages, because this method of working also allows the management of standard parts without a linked article master, allows the linking of several standard parts with an article master (e.g. for handling older data and for semi-finished product documents) iand also allows for semi-finished products the recognition of parts by the length of a semi-finished product.

In the context menu and in the detail window ribbon of a HELiOS document, you will find the new function

Open, with options

 under General.

If the document is an HiCAD drawing file (SZA format), an extended dialogue with additional options for reduced loading appears. This means that you can optionally select how to proceed when loading with isolated points:

With HELiOS 2020 (version 2500) you will find a new Mask Editor on the Admin Tools tab of the HELiOS Desktop, which has been adapted to the latest state of the art with a modern Look & Feel and thus offers some innovations and advantages compared to the previous version.

In addition to a modern Ribbon design, which also supports operation at high resolutions, this has laid the foundation for further expansion of the masks and the Editor in 2020.

Due to the complete revision of the Mask Editor in HELiOS 2020, the previous mask format has been changed from .MSK to .XML. In addition, mask files are now managed outside the installation directory, resulting in some changes in the system architecture that Administrators must consider:

• The masks of older versions (before V 2500.0) that were previously stored in the SYS directory of the installation are automatically converted to the new XML format in case of an update installation and stored at %Programdata%.
• The new masks at %Programdata% should not be overwritten under any circumstances, as these represent the "delivery status", which will be updated by later update installations. If masks are edited and changed with the Mask Editor, you must store and call them at %Appdata%.

In previous versions, existing article masters of semi-finished products were not transferred to HiCAD when inserting attached parts such as Steel Engineering connections, stairs, railings, element installations, profile installations etc.

From HiCAD 2019 onwards this behaviour can be changed via a setting in the Configuration Editor: At PDM > HiCAD-HELiOS Interface you can find the parameter Add semi-finished product article when loading. The ISD default setting is No, i.e. the article master of semi-finished products will not be transferred.

For example, when transferring article masters of semi-finished products from user-defined catalogues, set the parameter to Yes.
